     Kenneth Mackenzie was the son of John Mackenzie of Delvine and Margaret Hay.2 He married Grizel Hume Broun, daughter of Andrew Broun of Dolphinton.1 He died in 1756.1
     He was a practising advocate.1 He was Professor of Law at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 In 1738 he was served heir male in Delvine to his brother Alexander.1

     Robert Ord was born on 16 March 1700 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.2,3 He was the son of John Ord and Anne Hutchinson.3 He married Mary Darnell, daughter of Sir John Darnell and Margaret Jenner, on 11 October 1727 at Chapel Royal, Whitehall, London, England.2,4,3 He died on 12 February 1778 at age 77.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mitchell, Cornwall between 1734 and 1741.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Morpeth between 1741 and 1755.2 He held the office of Chief Baron of the Exchequer [Scotland] between 1755 and 1775.1,2
