     Sir David Arthur Geoffrey Mackworth, 9th Bt. was born on 13 July 1912.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Geoffrey Mackworth and Noel Mabel Langford.2 He married, firstly, Mary Alice Robinson-Smith Grylls, daughter of Thomas Henry Grylls, on 20 November 1941.1 He and Mary Alice Robinson-Smith Grylls were divorced in 1971.1 He married, secondly, Beryl Joan Cross, daughter of Pembroke Henry Cockayn Cross, on 11 December 1973.1 He died on 8 February 1998 at age 85.1
     He was educated at Farnborough School, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.1 He was naval advisor to the Director of Guided Weapon R & D, Ministry of Supply between 1946 and 1949.1 He was registered as a member of the Royal Institute Navigation.1 He was managing director of South Coast Rod Rigging Company.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Mackworth, of the Gnoll, Glamorgan [G.B., 1776] on 18 November 1952.1 He retired from the military in 1956, with the rank of Commander, late of the Royal Navy.1

     Mary Alice Robinson-Smith Grylls was the daughter of Thomas Henry Grylls.2 She married Sir David Arthur Geoffrey Mackworth, 9th Bt., son of Vice-Admiral Geoffrey Mackworth and Noel Mabel Langford, on 20 November 1941.1 She and Sir David Arthur Geoffrey Mackworth, 9th Bt. were divorced in 1971.1 She died in 1993.1
     From 20 November 1941, her married name became Mackworth.

     Sir Digby John Mackworth, 10th Bt. was born on 2 November 1945.1 He was the son of Sir David Arthur Geoffrey Mackworth, 9th Bt. and Mary Alice Robinson-Smith Grylls.2 He married Antoinette Francesca McKenna, daughter of Henry James McKenna, on 26 August 1971.1 He died on 17 July 2018 at age 72.3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1968 in the AAAC (helicopter pilot), 28 Commonwealth Infantry Brigade Malaysia and Singapore.1 He fought in the Vietnam War between 1970 and 1971, with 161 Flight.1 He was pilot with Iranian Helicopters (Bristow) between 1972 and 1976.1 He was registered as a Member, Royal Aeronautical Society (M.R.Ae.S.)1 He was with British Airways Helicopters, North Sea between 1977 and 1989.1 He was pilot with British Airways Heathrow between 1989 and 2000.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxfordshire.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Mackworth, of the Gnoll, Glamorgan [G.B., 1776] on 8 February 1998.2 He was with Easyjet Luton in 2000.2 He lived in 2003 at Blagrove Cottage, Fox Lane, Boars Hill, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1

     John Dolben Mackworth was born on 26 June 1887.1 He was the son of Sir Arthur William Mackworth, 6th Bt. and Alice Kate Cubitt.2 He married Marianne Annette Sillem, daughter of H. W. Sillem, on 8 April 1913.1 He died on 5 September 1939 at age 52.1
     He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Air Force and Queen's Royal Regiment.1
