Donald Maccallum1

     Donald Maccallum was the son of Archibald Maccallum and Janet MacLachlan.2 He married Margaret Campbell.1 He died in 1738.1
      OF POLTALLOCH.1 He was acquired Over Rudhill and held office as baillie of Glassary, and as Chamberlain to the Earl of Lauderdale, entailed the estates of Poltalloch and those of Knockalva, signed a resolution to support the Government 1715 in 1673.1

     Archibald Maccallum was the son of Zachary Maccallum and Jean Campbell.2 He married Katherine Bannatyne.1 He died, there a son (Zachary) and several daughters.1
      OF POLTALLOCH.1 In 1697 disponed the family estates to his half-uncle, Donald MacCallum.1

     John Maccallum is the son of Zachary Maccallum and Jean Campbell.2 He married Margaret McEwen in 1681.1
     He lived Knockalva.1 In 1700 disponed Knockalva to his half-uncle, Donald, 7th of Poltalloch and went to Ireland.1

     Alexander Maccallum was the son of Donald Maccallum and Margaret Campbell.2 He married Elizabeth Clerk, daughter of Dugald Clerk of Braleckan.1 He died on 6 June 1787, (probably a centenarian).1
      Continued to describe himself for a period as 'of Glennan,' and entrusted the management of his estates to His son, who thus acted as Laird of Poltalloch de facto.1 He lived Glennan.1
