     Sir Alan Armstrong Huggins was born on 15 May 1921.2 He is the son of William Armstrong Huggins and Dare Copping.2 He married, firstly, Catherine Davidson Dick, daughter of David Dick, in 1950.2 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Low Dodd, daughter of Dr. Christopher William Lumley Dodd, in 1985.2 He and Catherine Davidson Dick were divorced in 1985.2

     Edward Huggins was born on 14 October 1808.1 He was the son of John Huggins and Hannah Pickton.2 He married, firstly, Mary Eales circa 1832.1 He married, secondly, Ellen Meacock, daughter of John Meacock, on 22 July 1847.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Middlesex.1 He was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Office on 12 June 1852.1 He was a brewer.2
