     William Ponsonby Molesworth was born on 11 May 1856.1 He was the son of Thomas Nepean Molesworth and Sarah Georgina Kertland.2 He married Bathurst Georgina FitzGerald, daughter of Edward FitzGerald, in 1883.1 He died on 19 August 1937 at age 81.1

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He lived in 2003 at 74 Second Street, Oakville, Ontario, CanadaG.1
