George Byng Morris1

     George Byng Morris was born on 25 March 1816.1 He was the son of Sir John Morris, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Lucy Juliana Byng.2 He married Emily Matilda Smith, daughter of Charles H. Smith, on 23 October 1852.1 He died on 3 December 1899 at age 83.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Glamorgan.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Glamorgan.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Glamorgan.1

     Charles Alan Smith Morris was born on 15 May 1895.1 He was the son of Charles Smith Morris and Maud Mary Alston.2 He died on 7 May 1917 at age 21 at Arras, France, from wounds received in action.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded three times.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment.1 He fought in the Battle of Arras.1
