     George Byng Morris was born on 25 March 1816.1 He was the son of John Morris and Lucy Juliana Byng.2 He married Emily Matilda Smith, daughter of Charles H Smith, on 23 October 1852.1 He died on 3 December 1899 at age 83.1
     He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) (Glam).1 High Sheriff.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1
