     Sir John Harmar Mott, 3rd Bt. was born on 21 July 1922.1 He was the son of Sir Adrian Spear Mott, 2nd Bt. and Mary Katherine Stanton.2 He married Elizabeth Carson, daughter of Hugh Carson, on 24 November 1950.1 He died on 15 May 2015 at age 92.3
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer between 1943 and 1946 in the Royal Air Force.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1948 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Medicine (N.M.)4 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1951 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)1 He was a practising House Physician and House Surgeon between 1951 and 1952 at Middlesex Hospital, London, England.4 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of General Practitioners (M.R.C.G.P.) in 1958.4 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mott, of Ditchling, co. Sussex [U.K., 1930] on 23 May 1964.1 He was Regional Medical Officer, DHSS between 1969 and 1984.1 He lived in 2003 at Staniford, Brookside, Kingsley, Cheshire, EnglandG.1
