     Thomas Shaw Brandreth was born on 24 July 1788.1 He was the son of Joseph Brandreth and Catherine Pilkington.2 He married Harriet Byrom, daughter of Ashton Byrom, in February 1822.1 He died in 1873.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a practising barrister.1

     Harriet Byrom is the daughter of Ashton Byrom.2 She married Thomas Shaw Brandreth, son of Joseph Brandreth and Catherine Pilkington, in February 1822.1
     From February 1822, her married name became Brandreth.

     Admiral Sir Thomas Brandreth was born in 1825.1 He was the son of Thomas Shaw Brandreth and Harriet Byrom.2 He married Madeline Colvin, daughter of Alexander Colvin, in 1866.1 He died in 1894.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1845 in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Crimean War between 1854 and 1855.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1863.1 He was Private Secretary to the First Lord of Admiralty between 1867 and 1868.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria between 1875 and 1878.1 He was Superintendent of Sheerness Dockyard between 1877 and 1878.1 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1878.1 He was Superintendent of Chatham Dockyard between 1879 and 1881.1 He was Comptroller of the Navy between 1881 and 1882.1 He held the office of Lord Commissioner of Admiralty between 1882 and 1885.1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1884.1 He was President between 1885 and 1888 at Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1887.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1889.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1889.1

     Colvin Brandreth was the son of Admiral Sir Thomas Brandreth and Madeline Colvin.2 He married Edith Finetta Tarleton, daughter of Admiral Sir John Walter Tarleton.1 He died in 1913.1

Commander Thomas Tarleton Brandreth1

     Commander Thomas Tarleton Brandreth was born on 15 April 1910.1 He was the son of Colvin Brandreth and Edith Finetta Tarleton.2 He married Dorothy King, daughter of H. J. King, in 1934.1 He died on 21 January 1980 at age 69 at Millbrook, Cornwall, England.3
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander (E) in the Royal Navy.1
