     Violet Irene Savile is the daughter of Reverend William Hale Savile and Mabel von Bothmer.1 She and Gordon Brooke Willoughby Hamilton-Gay were divorced.1 She married Gordon Brooke Willoughby Hamilton-Gay on 6 April 1921.1 She married William Francis Egginton Briggs, son of Colonel William Egginton Briggs and Mary Georgina Mitchell, on 18 January 1930.1 She and William Francis Egginton Briggs were divorced in 1947.1 She married Colonel Christopher Pemberton Worsfold, son of Edward Mowll Worsfold, on 6 September 1956.1
      From 6 April 1921, her married name became Hamilton-Gay. From 18 January 1930, her married name became Briggs.1 From 6 September 1956, her married name became Worsfold.1
