     Kathleen Clarke is the daughter of General Sir Charles Mansfield Clarke, 3rd Bt. and Gemma Cecilia Adams.² She married Maj.-Gen. Hon. Sir Francis Richard Bingham, son of Charles George Bingham, 4th Earl of Lucan and Lady Cecilia Catherine Gordon-Lennox, on 10 June 1896.¹ She died on 18 September 1963.¹
     Her married name became Bingham.

     General Sir Charles Mansfield Clarke, 3rd Bt. was born on 13 December 1839.³ He was the son of Reverend Sir Charles Clarke, 2nd Bt. and Rosa Mary Alexander.² He married, firstly, Gemma Cecilia Adams, daughter of William Pitt Adams, on 19 December 1867.³ He married, secondly, Constance Marion Warner, daughter of Herbert Warner, on 26 April 1929.³ He died on 22 April 1932 at age 92.³
     General Sir Charles Mansfield Clarke, 3rd Bt. was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.⁴ He was Deputy Assistant Master-General of the New Plymouth District, New Zealand.⁴ He was Commandant-General of the Colonial Forces of the Cape of Good Hope between 1880 and 1882.³ He was AAQMG Aldershot between 1883 and 1884.³ He was AAG HQ between 1884 and 1886.³ He was Deputy Adjutant-General, Ireland between 1886 and 1888.³ He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1889 in the service of the Aldershot.³ He was Deputy Adjutant-General, HQ in 1892.³ He was Commander-in-Chief of the Madras Army between 1893 and 1895.³ He held the office of Member of the Council Governing Madras between 1893 and 1895.¹ He was Lieutenant-General of the Madras Army between 1895 and 1898.³ Between 1899 and 1903 Quarter-Master General.¹ He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Clarke, of Dunham Lodge, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1831] on 25 April 1899.³ He gained the rank of General in the service of the 57th Regiment.³ He held the office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Malta between 1903 and 1907.³ He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.).³ He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.).³

     Gemma Cecilia Adams was the daughter of William Pitt Adams.¹ She married General Sir Charles Mansfield Clarke, 3rd Bt., son of Reverend Sir Charles Clarke, 2nd Bt. and Rosa Mary Alexander, on 19 December 1867.¹ She died on 23 December 1922.¹
     Her married name became Clarke.

     Constance Marion Warner was the daughter of Herbert Warner.¹ She married General Sir Charles Mansfield Clarke, 3rd Bt., son of Reverend Sir Charles Clarke, 2nd Bt. and Rosa Mary Alexander, on 26 April 1929.¹ She died on 12 December 1964.¹
     Her married name became Clarke.

     Francis Humphrey Bingham was born on 3 July 1899.¹ He is the son of Maj.-Gen. Hon. Sir Francis Richard Bingham and Kathleen Clarke.¹ He married Evangeline Marguerite Ladys Elliot, daughter of Colonel William Henry Wilson Elliot, on 15 November 1927.¹
     Francis Humphrey Bingham gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Artillery.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was with the Colonial Civil Service.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the East African Artillery.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in Somaliland and Abyssinia.¹ He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1953.¹

     Evangeline Marguerite Ladys Elliot is the daughter of Colonel William Henry Wilson Elliot.¹ She married Francis Humphrey Bingham, son of Maj.-Gen. Hon. Sir Francis Richard Bingham and Kathleen Clarke, on 15 November 1927.¹
     Her married name became Bingham.

     
     Colonel William Henry Wilson Elliot was with the Indian Medical Service.¹ He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹

     Christine Graham Smith was born circa 1865.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Smith.¹ She married Hon. Albert Edward Bingham, son of Charles George Bingham, 4th Earl of Lucan and Lady Cecilia Catherine Gordon-Lennox, on 3 September 1892.¹ She died on 14 April 1966.¹
