     Sir John Skene, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir James Skene of Curriehill, 1st Bt. and Janet Johnston.1 He died at Germany, without issue.1
     He sold Curriehill in 1607.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Skene, of Curriehill [N.S., 1630] in 1633.1

     He held the office of Provost of Aberdeen.1
