     Lt.-Gen. Sir J. Bevan Edwards married Nina Balfour, daughter of John Balfour, on 16 July 1901.¹ He died on 8 July 1922.¹
     He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).¹ He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.).¹

     Margaret Anne Alice Fairlie was born on 17 January 1853.² She was the daughter of James Ogilvie Fairlie and Elizabeth Constance Crawford.^1,2 She was baptised on 14 February 1853 at Symington, Ayrshire, Scotland.² She married Sir Graeme Hepburn Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, 4th Bt., son of Sir James Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone of Horn and Westhall, 2nd Bt. and Mary Heron-Maxwell, on 5 January 1875.¹ She died on 12 March 1932 at age 79.¹
      From 5 January 1875, her married name became Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone.¹

     James Ogilvie Fairlie married Elizabeth Constance Crawford on 22 July 1845 at Symington, Ayrshire, Scotland.²
     He lived at Coodham, Ayrshire, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).¹

     Mary Constance Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone was the daughter of Sir Graeme Hepburn Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, 4th Bt. and Margaret Anne Alice Fairlie.¹ She died on 22 May 1919.¹

     Esther Winifred Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone was the daughter of Sir Graeme Hepburn Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, 4th Bt. and Margaret Anne Alice Fairlie.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Thomas Alexander Headlam on 8 November 1917.¹ She died on 15 January 1960, without issue.¹
      From 8 November 1917, her married name became Headlam.¹

     Lt.-Col. Thomas Alexander Headlam married Esther Winifred Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, daughter of Sir Graeme Hepburn Dalrymple-Horn-Elphinstone, 4th Bt. and Margaret Anne Alice Fairlie, on 8 November 1917.¹ He died on 19 January 1953.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the East Yorkshire Regiment.¹

     Stuart Mary Elphinstone-Dalrymple is the daughter of Hew Drummond Elphinstone-Dalrymple and Helenora Catherine Heron-Maxwell.¹

     Flora Loudoun Macleod was the daughter of James William Macleod.¹ She married Colonel Sir Robert Graeme Elphinstone-Dalrymple, 5th Bt., son of Hew Drummond Elphinstone-Dalrymple and Helenora Catherine Heron-Maxwell, on 27 April 1871.¹ She died on 23 November 1906.¹
      From 27 April 1871, her married name became Elphinstone-Dalrymple.¹

     John Maxwell Elphinstone-Dalrymple was born on 20 January 1873.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Robert Graeme Elphinstone-Dalrymple, 5th Bt. and Flora Loudoun Macleod.¹ He died on 4 March 1903 at age 30, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Dorset Regiment.¹
