     Sir John Stuart Agnew, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 September 1879.1 He was the son of Sir George William Agnew, 2nd Bt. and Fanny Bolton.1 He married Kathleen White, daughter of Isaac William Hewitt White, on 14 April 1910.1 He died on 27 August 1957 at age 77.1
     Sir John Stuart Agnew, 3rd Bt. fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Suffolk Yeomanry (Territorial Army).1 He was decorated with the award of Territorial Decoration (T.D.).1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of West Suffolk.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for West Suffolk.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Agnew, of Great Stanhope Street, London [U.K., 1895] on 19 December 1941.1

     Kathleen White was the daughter of Isaac William Hewitt White.1 She married Sir John Stuart Agnew, 3rd Bt., son of Sir George William Agnew, 2nd Bt. and Fanny Bolton, on 14 April 1910.1 She died on 5 May 1971.1
     Her married name became Agnew.
