     Sir Gerald William Henry Codrington, 1st Bt. was born on 9 October 1850. He was the son of Christopher William Bethell-Codrington and Lady Georgiana Charlotte Anne Somerset.2 He married Lady Edith Henrietta Sybil Denison, daughter of William Henry Forester Denison, 1st Earl of Londesborough and Lady Edith Frances Wilhelmina Somerset, on 3 February 1887.1 He died on 3 November 1929 at age 79.1
     Sir Gerald William Henry Codrington, 1st Bt. was created 1st Baronet Codrington, of Dodington Park, co. Gloucester [U.K.] on 25 February 1876.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the service of the Gloucestershire Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1880.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1

     Sir Christopher William Gerald Henry Codrington, 2nd Bt. was born on 6 October 1894.1 He was the son of Sir Gerald William Henry Codrington, 1st Bt. and Lady Edith Henrietta Sybil Denison.1,2 He married, firstly, Joan Mary Hague-Cook, daughter of Thomas Reginald Hague-Cook, on 3 December 1921.1 He married, secondly, Henrietta Desirée Moutray Read, daughter of Major Beresford Moutray Read, on 19 October 1963.1 He died on 10 November 1979 at age 85.1
     Sir Christopher William Gerald Henry Codrington, 2nd Bt. was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Leicestershire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 19th Hussars.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Codrington, of Dodington Park, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1876] on 3 November 1929.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1938.1
