     Sir Gerald William Henry Codrington, 1st Bt. was born on 9 October 1850. He was the son of Christopher William Bethell-Codrington and Lady Georgiana Charlotte Anne Somerset.2 He married Lady Edith Henrietta Sybil Denison, daughter of William Henry Forester Denison, 1st Earl of Londesborough and Lady Edith Frances Wilhelmina Somerset, on 3 February 1887.1 He died on 3 November 1929 at age 79.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Codrington, of Dodington Park, co. Gloucester [U.K.] on 25 February 1876.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the Gloucestershire Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1880.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1

     Lady Edith Henrietta Sybil Denison was the daughter of William Henry Forester Denison, 1st Earl of Londesborough and Lady Edith Frances Wilhelmina Somerset.2 She married Sir Gerald William Henry Codrington, 1st Bt., son of Christopher William Bethell-Codrington and Lady Georgiana Charlotte Anne Somerset, on 3 February 1887.1 She died on 6 May 1945.1
     Her married name became Codrington.

     Sir Christopher William Gerald Henry Codrington, 2nd Bt. was born on 6 October 1894.1 He was the son of Sir Gerald William Henry Codrington, 1st Bt. and Lady Edith Henrietta Sybil Denison.1,2 He married, firstly, Joan Mary Hague-Cook, daughter of Thomas Reginald Hague-Cook, on 3 December 1921.1 He married, secondly, Henrietta Desirée Moutray Read, daughter of Major Beresford Moutray Read, on 19 October 1963.1 He died on 10 November 1979 at age 85.1
     He was educated at Uppingham School, Uppingham, Rutland, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 19th Hussars.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Codrington, of Dodington Park, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1876] on 3 November 1929.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1938.1

     Joan Mary Hague-Cook was the daughter of Thomas Reginald Hague-Cook.2 She married Sir Christopher William Gerald Henry Codrington, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Gerald William Henry Codrington, 1st Bt. and Lady Edith Henrietta Sybil Denison, on 3 December 1921.1 She died on 29 August 1961.1
     Her married name became Codrington.

     Sir Simon Francis Bethell Codrington, 3rd Bt. was born on 14 August 1923.1 He was the son of Sir Christopher William Gerald Henry Codrington, 2nd Bt. and Joan Mary Hague-Cook.2 He married, firstly, Joanne Molineaux, daughter of John William Molineaux, on 3 May 1947.1 He and Joanne Molineaux were divorced in 1959.1 He married, secondly, Pamela Joy Halliday Wise, daughter of Major George Walter Bentley Wise, in 1959.1 He and Pamela Joy Halliday Wise were divorced on 9 November 1979.1,3 He married, thirdly, Sarah Gwynne Pennell on 4 January 1980 at Chipping Sodbury Registeer Office, Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1,3 He and Sarah Gwynne Pennell were divorced on 3 August 1987.1 He married, fourthly, Shirley Ann Davis, daughter of Percival Lionel Davis, on 28 July 1989.1 He died on 17 August 2005 at age 82 at Frenchay HospitalG.3
