     Joanna Christian Erskine was born on 6 July 1968.1 She is the daughter of Donald Seymour Erskine and Catharine Annandale McLelland.2 She married Newton Edward John Bruce, son of Hon. Edward David Bruce and Sarah Elizabeth Wallop William-Powlett, in 1996.1
     From 1996, her married name became Bruce.

     Commander Angus Bruce Erskine was born on 11 May 1928.1 He is the son of Sir Arthur Edward Erskine and Rosemary Freda Baird.2 He married, firstly, Alison Gillian Duthie, daughter of Dr. Comyn Duthie, on 5 August 1961.1 He married, secondly, Maureen Mahood on 11 September 2000.1
     Commander Angus Bruce Erskine gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He lived in 2003 at 16 Braid Farm Road, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1

He married Violet Ella Orr-Ewing, daughter of Sir Archibald Ernest Orr-Ewing, 3rd Bt. and Hon. Mabel Addington, on 12 July 1904.
