     Millicent Clerk is the daughter of Sir Robert Clerk.² She married Sir Thomas Nightingale, 1st Bt., son of Geoffrey Nightingale and Katharine Clamps.¹
     Her married name became Nightingale.

     Robert Nightingale was the son of Sir Thomas Nightingale, 1st Bt. and Millicent Clerk.² He married Theodosia Chester, daughter of Sir Robert Chester.¹ He died on 30 April 1639.¹

     Theodosia Chester is the daughter of Sir Robert Chester.² She married Robert Nightingale, son of Sir Thomas Nightingale, 1st Bt. and Millicent Clerk.¹
     Her married name became Nightingale.

     Sir Thomas Nightingale, 2nd Bt. was born on 15 October 1629.¹ He was the son of Robert Nightingale and Theodosia Chester.² He married Jane Shires, daughter of George Shires.¹ He died on 19 October 1702 at age 73.¹ He died circa 16 October 1702.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Nightingale, of Newport Pond, co. Essex [E., 1628] in January 1644.¹

     George Shires lived at Slyfield Hall, Surrey, England.¹

     Jane Shires was the daughter of George Shires.² She married Sir Thomas Nightingale, 2nd Bt., son of Robert Nightingale and Theodosia Chester.¹ She died in 1705.¹
     Her married name became Nightingale.

     Sir Robert Nightingale was the son of Sir Thomas Nightingale, 2nd Bt. and Jane Shires.² He married Sarah Cock.¹ He died on 3 July 1697, without issue.¹
     He was appointed Knight in 1685.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Norfolk from 1685 to 1686.¹

     Sarah Cock married, firstly, Sir Robert Nightingale, son of Sir Thomas Nightingale, 2nd Bt. and Jane Shires.¹ She married, secondly, John Burkin.¹
     Her married name became Nightingale. Her married name became Burkin.¹

     Geoffrey Nightingale was the son of Robert Nightingale and Theodosia Chester.² He married Anne Bridges, daughter of John Bridges.¹ He died circa 20 July 1690.¹ He was buried on 23 July 1690.¹
     He lived at Enfield, London, England.¹
