     Claud Robert Nightingale was born on 18 June 1878.1 He was the son of Frederic Charles Nightingale and Katherine Jane Hamilton.2 He married Eleanor Maude Rivett-Carnac, daughter of Sir William Percival Rivett-Carnac, 5th Bt. and Frances Maria Forbes, on 18 January 1912.2 He died on 11 February 1954 at age 75.1
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1

Sir William Percival Rivett-Carnac, 5th Bt.1

     Sir William Percival Rivett-Carnac, 5th Bt. was born in 1847.2 He was the son of William John Rivett-Carnac and Mary Anstruther Wilkinson.2 He married Frances Maria Forbes, daughter of Francis Charles Forbes, on 28 April 1885.2 He died on 21 March 1924.2
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Rivett-Carnac, of Derby and Warborne, Hampshire [U.K., 1836] on 11 March 1924, after his cousin was declared dead.2

     Eleanor Maude Rivett-Carnac was the daughter of Sir William Percival Rivett-Carnac, 5th Bt. and Frances Maria Forbes.2 She married Claud Robert Nightingale, son of Frederic Charles Nightingale and Katherine Jane Hamilton, on 18 January 1912.2 She died on 19 January 1977.1
     From 18 January 1912, her married name became Nightingale.

Christopher Carnac Nightingale1

     Christopher Carnac Nightingale was born on 2 October 1913.1 He was the son of Claud Robert Nightingale and Eleanor Maude Rivett-Carnac.2 He married Muriel de Lissa Philips, daughter of F. B. Philips, on 25 October 1941.1 He died on 15 April 1970 at age 56.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1

     From 25 October 1941, her married name became Nightingale.

     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He was a practising solicitor in 1968.1 He graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A., in 1983 with a Advanced Management Program (A.M.P.)1
