     Marc Andrew Patrick Noble was born on 19 May 1897.1 He was the son of Sir Saxton William Armstrong Noble of Ardmore, 3rd Bt. and Celia Brunel James.2 He died on 1 July 1917 at age 20, from wounds received in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     From 20 November 1919, her married name became Madan.
