     Nuala O'Donnell is the daughter of Sir Aodh O'Donnell and Finola Macdonald.2 She married Sir Niall 'Garbh' O'Donnell, son of Conn O'Donnell.1 She and Sir Niall 'Garbh' O'Donnell were separated when he went over to the English.1

Sir Niall 'Garbh' O'Donnell1

     Sir Niall 'Garbh' O'Donnell was the son of Conn O'Donnell.2 He married Nuala O'Donnell, daughter of Sir Aodh O'Donnell and Finola Macdonald.1 He and Nuala O'Donnell were separated when he went over to the English.1 He died in 1625, in prison.1
     At first he was the English candidate to succeeded as Chief of the Name rather than Aodh Ruadh (‘Red Hugh.1') In 1603 he was dropped in favour of Ruaidhri O'Donnell.1 In 1608 he was imprisoned until his death.1

     He was transplanted to Connaught after Cromwell's campaigns in Ireland.1 He lived at Lifford, County Donegal, Ireland.1 He lived circa 1664 at Balltcroy, County Mayo, Ireland.1

     Manus O'Donnell was the son of Rory O'Donnell.2 He married Eleanor Maguire, daughter of Robert Maguire, Chief of Fermanagh.1 He died in 1736.1
     He lived at Rosturk, Newport, County Mayo, Ireland.1 He fought in the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.1 He fought in the Battle of Aughrim in 1691.1
