     Sir John Andrew Ogilvy-Wedderburn, 5th Bt. was born on 16 September 1866.1 He is the son of John Andrew Wedderburn Ogilvy and Janet Stuart Gray.2 He married Meta Aileen Odette Grogan, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Edward George Grogan, on 4 October 1909.1 He died on 10 March 1956 at age 89.1
     He was given the name of John Andrew Wedderburn Ogilvy at birth. He was educated at Bath College, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Major, TFR Scottish Horse.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Wedderburn, of Ballindean, Perthshire [U.K., 1803] on 25 January 1918.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Forfar.1

     Searles Valentine Wood was born on 14 February 1798.1 He was the son of John Wood and Mary Ann Baker.1 He was baptised on 20 February 1798 at St. Mary, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.1 He married Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of Thomas Taylor, on 12 April 1821 at St. Andrew's, Holborn, London, England.1 He died on 14 December 1884 at age 86 at Beacon Hill House, Martlesham, Suffolk, England.2
     He gained the rank of Midshipman in November 1811 in the Honourable East India Company.1 He retired from the military in 1825.1 He was curator of the Geological Society museum between 1838 and 1839.1 He was appointed Fellow, Geological Society (F.G.S.) in 1839.1 He was awarded the Wollaston Medal in 1860.1
