Captain Peter Osborne1

     Captain Peter Osborne was baptised on 4 September 1690.1 He was the son of Sir John Osborne, 2nd Bt. and Martha Kelynge.2 He married Mary Skelton, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Bevil Skelton, in 1718.1 He died on 13 February 1754 at age 63.1
     He was Captain at Royal Hospital, Greenwich, Kent, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Mary Skelton was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Bevil Skelton.2 She married, firstly, William Molyneux, 4th Viscount Molyneux, son of Caryll Molyneux, 3rd Viscount Molyneux, before 1718.1 She married, secondly, Captain Peter Osborne, son of Sir John Osborne, 2nd Bt. and Martha Kelynge, in 1718.1 She died on 1 April 1765.1
     From before 1718, her married name became Molyneux.1 From 1718, her married name became Osborne.

     Admiral Henry Osborne was born on 26 June 1697.1 He was the son of Sir John Osborne, 2nd Bt. and Martha Kelynge.2 He married Mary Hughes, daughter of Richard Hughes.1 He died in 1771.1
     He held the office of Governor of Newfoundland between 1729 and 1737.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bedford.1 He was Commander-in-Chief of the Leeward Islands.1
