     Lady Eleanor Lucy Hicks-Beach was born on 29 October 1875.2 She was the daughter of Michael Edward Hicks-Beach, 1st Earl Saint Aldwyn and Lady Lucy Catherine Fortescue.2 She married Lt.-Col. Sir John Keane, 5th Bt., son of Sir Richard Henry Keane, 4th Bt. and Adelaide Sidney Vance, on 14 February 1907.1 She died on 1 December 1960 at age 85.1
     Her married name became Keane.

     Lt.-Col. Sir John Keane, 5th Bt. was born on 3 June 1873.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Henry Keane, 4th Bt. and Adelaide Sidney Vance.1 He married Lady Eleanor Lucy Hicks-Beach, daughter of Michael Edward Hicks-Beach, 1st Earl Saint Aldwyn and Lady Lucy Catherine Fortescue, on 14 February 1907.1 He died on 30 January 1956 at age 82.1
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, Kent, England.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Keane, of Cappoquin House, co. Waterford [U.K., 1801] on 17 October 1892.1 He was commissioned in 1893 with the rank of officer, in the service of the British Army.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1900.1 He was Private Secretary to the Governor of Ceylon between 1902 and 1905.1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1904 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Waterford in 1911.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1916.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colonel in 1917 in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He held the office of Senator [Irish Free State] between 1922 and 1936.1 He held the office of Senator [Irish Republic] between 1938 and 1948.1 He held the office of Chancellor of State [Irish Republic].1 He was Director of the Bank of Ireland.1

     Sir Richard Michael Keane, 6th Bt. was born on 29 January 1909.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir John Keane, 5th Bt. and Lady Eleanor Lucy Hicks-Beach.1 He married Olivia Dorothy Hawkshaw, daughter of Lt.-Col. Oliver Hawkshaw, on 7 June 1939.1 He died on 28 December 2010 at age 101.2
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was a diplomatic correspondent with Reuters between 1935 and 1937.1 He was a diplomatic correspondent with Sunday Times between 1937 and 1939.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Company, London Yeomanry and 10th Royal Hussars.1 He wrote the book Germany: What Next?, published 1939.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1944.1 He was a publicity consultant for ICI between 1950 and 1963.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Keane, of Cappoquin House, co.
