     John Pollen was the son of John Pollen and Mary Sherwood.2,1 He married Hester St. John, daughter of Ellis St. John and Martha Goodyear.2 He died on 24 July 1775.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Judge in Wales.1 They also had other issue.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Andover between 1734 and 1754.1 He lived at Andover, Hampshire, England.1

     Sir John Pollen, 1st Bt. was the son of John Pollen and Hester St. John.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Holt, daughter of Walter Holt, on 1 February 1778.1 He married, secondly, Charity Anne Southby, daughter of Richard Southby.1 He died on 17 August 1814.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Pollen, of Redenham, co. Hampshire [Great Britain] on 15 May 1795.1 He lived at Andover, Hampshire, England.1 He lived at Redenham, Hampshire, England.1
