     Eric Mackay, 7th Lord Reay was born in December 1773.2 He was the son of Hon. George Mackay of Skibo and Anne Sutherland.3 He died on 8 July 1847 at age 73, unmarried.2
     He sold the family estates to Elizabeth, Countess of Sutherland in her own right, for £300,000.2 He succeeded as the 7th Lord Reay, of Reay, co. Caithness [S., 1628] on 26 January 1797.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Mackay, of Reay, co. Caithness [N.S., 1627] on 26 January 1797.2 He was appointed Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1806 and 1807.2 He was appointed Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1835 and 1847.2

     Ann Moore was the daughter of Roland Moore.1 She married Charles Wilbraham Roundell, son of Christopher Foulis Roundell and Lady Maude Clements, on 7 February 1942.1 She died in January 2005.1
     From 7 February 1942, her married name became Roundell.1

     Marion Gall was the daughter of Colonel unknown Gall.2 She married, firstly, David Ross, son of David Ross of Inverchasley, Lord Ankerville, before 1809.1 She married, secondly, Alexander Mackay, 8th Lord Reay, son of Hon. George Mackay of Skibo and Anne Sutherland, on 8 April 1809.1 She died on 2 July 1865.1
     From before 1809, her married name became Ross.1 From 8 April 1809, her married name became Mackay.

     Eric Mackay, 9th Lord Reay was born in 1813.1 He was the son of Alexander Mackay, 8th Lord Reay and Marion Gall.2 He died on 2 June 1875, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 60th Rifles.1 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Reay, of Reay, co. Caithness [S., 1628] on 18 February 1863.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Mackay [N.S., 1627] on 18 February 1863.1

     Vice-Admiral Hon. Donald Hugh Mackay was born on 31 December 1780.1 He was the son of Hon. George Mackay of Skibo and Anne Sutherland.2 He married Helen Martha Twinning, daughter of William Twinning, in 1848.1 He died on 26 March 1850 at age 69, without issue.1
     On 18 August 1835 he was granted the rank of a Lord of Parliament younger son.1 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral of the Blue in 1849.1
