     Martha Ella Maud Latch was the daughter of John Latch.2 She married Colonel Seymour Gordon Rivett-Carnac, son of Charles Forbes Rivett-Carnac and Isabel Stannus Gordon, in 1893.1 She died in 1920.1
     From 1893, her married name became Rivett-Carnac.

     From 4 March 1920, her married name became Hildick-Smith.

     Brigadier John Norman Hildick-Smith was the son of F. C. Hildick-Smith.2 He married Kathleen Maud Rivett-Carnac, daughter of Colonel Seymour Gordon Rivett-Carnac and Martha Ella Maud Latch, on 4 March 1920.1 He died on 14 December 1973.1
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Indian Army.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1

     Lt.-Col. Donald Ryvet Hildick-Smith was born on 3 December 1920.1 He was the son of Brigadier John Norman Hildick-Smith and Kathleen Maud Rivett-Carnac.2 He married Frances Penelope Bache, daughter of Eric Bache, on 11 October 1947.1 He died on 19 September 1997 at age 76.1
     He was educated at Bedford School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1944.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Coloonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He was Instructor between 1956 and 1958 at Staff College, Quetta, Pakistan.1 He was AAQMG Land Forces Persian Gulf.1
