     Margaret Somerville is the daughter of Sir James Somerville of Cambusnethan and Margaret Hamilton.2 She married, secondly, Sir James Muirhead of Lauchope.2 She married, firstly, Gilbert Somerville, 7th Lord Somerville, son of Hugh Somerville, 6th Lord Somerville and Eleanor Seton, in April 1592.1,2 She died in 1617.2
     Her married name became Muirhead.2
