     Colonel Charles Neil Howard was the son of George Percy Howard. He married Prunella Mary Patricia Feilding, daughter of Lt.-Col. Rowland Charles Feilding and Edith Mary Stapleton-Bretherton, on 7 September 1942.2 He died in 1975.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Black Watch.1 He was decorated with the award of the Military Cross (M.C.).1
