     Brig.-Gen. Frederick Stephens was born on 19 June 1906.1 He was the son of Reginald Byng Stephens and Eleanor Dorothea Cripps.1 He died on 9 November 1967 at age 61 at Aldershot, Hampshire, England.1,2
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)2 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1958 and 1959.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1959.1 He retired from the military in 1959, with the rank of Brigadier.1
