     Mary Anne Webb was born circa 1818 at Rickling, Essex, England.2 She married Captain Henry Byng, son of Vice-Admiral Hon. Henry Dilkes Byng and Maria Jane Clerke, on 10 June 1839 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,2 She died on 25 November 1852.1
     Brother of Thomas.1 And a descendant of John Cranmer.1 With two other sons (died young).1 Archbishop Cranmer.1 Essex.1 Her married name became Byng. Only child of William Webb.1 She lived The Views.1

     Lt.-Col. Alfred Molyneux Cranmer-Byng was born on 19 March 1840.1 He was the son of Captain Henry Byng and Mary Anne Webb.2 He married Caroline Mary Tufnell, daughter of Rt. Hon. Henry Tufnell, on 20 June 1870.1 He married Emma Evangeline Ker Baillie-Hamilton, daughter of Ker Baillie-Hamilton and Emma Blair, on 14 February 1888.1 He died on 20 May 1906 at age 66.1
     He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 Essex.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel Grenadier Guards.1 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was given the name of Alfred Molyneux Byng at birth.1 He lived Quendon Hall.1 On 1 February 1882 his name was legally changed to Alfred Molyneux Cranmer-Byng by Royal Licence.

     Caroline Mary Tufnell was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Henry Tufnell.2 She married Lt.-Col. Alfred Molyneux Cranmer-Byng, son of Captain Henry Byng and Mary Anne Webb, on 20 June 1870.1 She died on 31 January 1887.1
     She was Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 Her married name became Byng. Her long name was Cranmer-Byng.

     Launcelot Alfred Cranmer Cranmer-Byng was born on 23 November 1872.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Alfred Molyneux Cranmer-Byng and Caroline Mary Tufnell.2 He married Harriet Hammersley, daughter of Isaac Hammersley, on 4 March 1894.1 He married Daisy Elaine Beach on 30 March 1916. He died on 15 January 1945 at age 72.1
     He was Chartered Accountant (C.A.) Essex, FRSA, Captain TFR, Cmdt POW Camp 1917.1 Essex.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived Folly Mill.1 Thaxted.1 On 30 March 1916 married 2nd Daisy Elaine (died 1981), daughter of N B Beach, of Chelmsford.1

     From 4 March 1894, her married name became Cranmer-Byng.

     John Launcelot Cranmer-Byng was born on 18 March 1919.1 He was the son of Launcelot Alfred Cranmer Cranmer-Byng and Daisy Elaine Beach.2 He married Margaret Ellen Hardy, daughter of R H Hardy, on 19 January 1955.1 He died on 6 April 1999 at age 80.1
     He was Major Airborne Forces WW II , history lecturer Hong Kong U, Prof History Toronto U in 1940.1 He graduated in 1944 with a Haileybury and King's College Cambridge Master of Arts (M.A.) ).1 He was Military Cross (M.C.) in 1944.1 He lived in 2003 at Apt 508, 2177 Burnhamthorpe Rd, W Mississauga, ON L5L 5P9, Canada.1
