     Elizabeth Hamilton Dalrymple was born on 19 February 1818.¹ She was the daughter of North Hamilton Dalrymple, 9th Earl of Stair and Margaret Penny.¹ She was baptised on 10 July 1818 at Cranston, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ She died on 10 April 1884 at age 66.¹

     Harriet Dalrymple was born on 20 December 1821.¹ She was the daughter of North Hamilton Dalrymple, 9th Earl of Stair and Margaret Penny.¹ She was baptised on 19 February 1822 at Cranston, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ She died on 28 August 1848 at age 26.¹
