     Sir William Seton of Pitmedden, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir William Seton of Pitmedden, 2nd Bt. and Katherine Burnett.2 He died on 11 October 1774, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Seton, of Pitmedden, co. Aberdeen [N.S., 1684] on 21 July 1750.1

     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Seton, of Pitmedden, co. Aberdeen [N.S., 1684] on 11 October 1774.1

     Sir William Seton of Pitmedden, 6th Bt. is the son of Charles Seton.2 He married Margaret Ligertwood, daughter of James Ligertwood, on 23 November 1775.1
     He also had two daughters.1 He lived at Pitmedden, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Seton, of Pitmedden, co. Aberdeen [N.S., 1684] on 26 May 1775.1
