     Colin Spens was born in 1843.1 He was the son of Nathaniel Spens, 3rd of Craigsanquhar and Janet Law Guild.2 He died in 1866.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 42nd Regiment (Black Watch).1

     Nathaniel James Spens, 4th of Craigsanquhar was born in 1845.1 He was the son of Nathaniel Spens, 3rd of Craigsanquhar and Janet Law Guild.2 He died in 1879, killed in action Sherpur.1
     4th of Craigsanquhar.1 He was Captain 72nd Regiment.1

Jessie Hannah Elizabeth Spens1

     Jessie Hannah Elizabeth Spens was the daughter of Nathaniel Spens, 3rd of Craigsanquhar and Janet Law Guild.2 She married Richard Horwood Dunning in 1884.1 She died on 21 February 1922, a son and a daughter.1
     5th of Craigsanquhar.1 Her married name became Dunning.

     He lived Putsborough.1 He was Major 17th Foot.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 On 21 January 1907 Devon (d ).1
