     Mary Stuart was the daughter of Andrew Stuart.2 She married David Monypenny, 23rd of Pitmilly, son of Alexander Monypenny, 22nd of Pitmilly and Margaret Chamberlain.1 She died in 1808.1
     After her marriage, Mary Stuart was styled as Baroness Monypenny, of Pitmilly, co. Fife [U.K.].1 Her married name became Monypenny.1

     Lt.-Col. James Spens, 2nd of Craigsanquhar was born in 1761.2 He is the son of Nathaniel Spens, 1st of Craigsanquhar and Mary Milliken.2 He married, firstly, Isabella Elizabeth MacLeod, daughter of John MacLeod of MacLeod, younger, in 1787.2,3 He married, secondly, Frances Stuart, daughter of Sir John Stuart of Allanton, Bt., in 1797.2,3 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Joanna Davidson, daughter of John Davidson of Ravilrig, in 1804.2,3 He died in 1840.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 73rd Regiment (Roy Highland East Indies.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Fife.2

     James Robert Blackwell Monypenny, 26th of Pitmilly was born on 25 September 1835.1 He was the son of Reverend James Isaac Monypenny, 25th of Pitmilly and Mary Blackwell Monypenny.2 He married Mary Elizabeth Lane, daughter of Reverend Charlton Lane, on 5 August 1866.1 He died on 22 May 1886 at age 50.1
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the East kent Militia.3 They also had two daughters.1

     Reverend Hon. Phillips Howard Monypenny was born on 13 June 1837.1 He was the son of Reverend James Isaac Monypenny, 25th of Pitmilly and Mary Blackwell Monypenny.2 He married Emma Melasina MacMunn, daughter of Dr. John MacMunn, on 5 July 1860.1 He died on 23 February 1913 at age 75.1
     They also had two other sons and four daughters.1
