     Anthony Neil Wedgwood Benn was born on 3 April 1925.1 He was the son of William Wedgwood Benn, 1st Viscount Stansgate and Margaret Eadie Holmes.2 He married Caroline Middleton de Camp, daughter of James Milton de Camp, on 17 June 1949.1 He died on 14 March 2014 at age 88.3
     He graduated Union 1947 with a Westminster and New College Oxford (Pres , Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) 1948, MA).1 Briefly 2nd Viscount Stansgate.1 He was P/O Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve and Sub-Lt (A) Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve , Talks Producer BBC Overseas Serv 1949–50, Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Lab) Bristol SE Nov 1950–Nov 1960, petitioned Parl unsuccessfully for right to renounce Visc in 1943.1 In 1957 author: The Privy Council as a Second Chamber , The Regeneration of Britain (1964), The New Politics (1970), Arguments for Socialism (1979), Arguments for Democracy (1981), Out of the Wilderness, Diaries 1963–67 (1987), Fighting Back (1988), Offic.1 In 1960 succeeded f as 2nd Viscount but disclaimed peerage for life 31 July 1963.1 He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1964.1 He graduated in 1970 with a CIEE, Fellow, Royal Society of Arts (F.R.S.A.) , Honour Doctor of Law (LL.D.) Strathclyde U 1969, Honour DTech Bradford U 1979, Honour Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) Aston.1 In 1971 dep ldrship and 1981.1 He lived in 2003 at 12 Holland Park Avenue, London, England.1

     He was educated Holland Park Comprehensive Sch and Keele U.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Stansgate on 14 March 2014.
