     Major Valentine Stevens Bland was the son of George Roxberry Bland.2 He married Doris Stott, daughter of Sir Philip Sidney Stott, 1st Bt. and Hannah Nicholson, on 19 November 1918.1 He died on 9 November 1957.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1

     She was member of the Ridley Art Club.1 She was member of the Society of Women Artists and Society Miniaturists.1 She was exhibitor at the Royal Academy and Salon des Artistes Français Paris.1 She was a portraitist and miniaturist.1 She was member of the Royal Miniature Society.1 From 2 January 1936, her married name became Stott.1

     Sir Philip Sidney Stott, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 December 1914.2 He is the son of Sir George Edward Stott, 2nd Bt. and Kate Swailes.2 He married Cicely Florence Ellingham, daughter of Bertram Ellingham, on 16 August 1947.2 He died on 9 December 1979 at age 64.2
     At Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire, EnglandG, (an unknown value.)2 He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Stott, of Stanton, co. Glocuester [U.K., 1920] on 11 July 1957.1

     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1
