     Prince Junio Valerio Scipione Borghese was born on 6 June 1906 at Rome, Italy.1 He was the son of Prince Livio Borghese and Valeria Maria Alessandra Keun.1 He married Countess Daria Olsoufiev, daughter of Count Vassili Olsoufiev and Countess Olga Schouwalow, on 30 September 1931. He died on 26 August 1974 at age 68 at Cadiz, Spain.1
     Prince Junio Valerio Scipione Borghese fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Italian Navy, where he was involved in the human torpedo programme, including attacks on Gibraltar and Alexandria.1
