     Maria Jane Trevelyan was born circa 17 January 1796 at Hartburn, Northumberland, England.3 She was the daughter of Sir John Trevelyan, 5th Bt. and Maria Wilson.4 She married Reverend Noel Thomas Ellison on 7 June 1828 at St. James's Church, Westminster, London, England.1 She died on 20 December 1860, a widow.1
     From 7 June 1828, her married name became Ellison.

     Reverend Noel Thomas Ellison was born on 16 February 1791 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England.2 He married Maria Jane Trevelyan, daughter of Sir John Trevelyan, 5th Bt. and Maria Wilson, on 7 June 1828 at St. James's Church, Westminster, London, England.1 He died on 12 August 1858 at age 67.2
     He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1811 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1815 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was Rector between 1816 and 1824 at Whalton, Northumberland, England.2 He was Rector between 1823 and 1858 at Huntspill, Somerset, England.1 He was Rector between 1831 and 1858 at Nettlecombe, Somerset, England.1 He held the office of Canon of Wells Cathedral between 1831 and 1858.2
