     Edward Trevelyan was born on 11 November 1857.1 He was the son of Reverend Edward Otto Trevelyan and Emma Bill.2 He married Eleanor Pearse, daughter of William Pearse, on 27 December 1893.1 He died on 15 June 1945 at age 87.1

     She graduated from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 She was awarded the Newdigate Prize for English in 1927.1
