     Algernon Digby was born on 23 May 1849.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Kenelm Henry Digby and Caroline Sheppard.1 He married Richenda Catherine Hamond, daughter of Captain Philip Hamond, on 30 December 1888.1 He died on 23 September 1936 at age 87.1
     Algernon Digby graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1

     Thomas Hankinson Digby was born on 5 February 1892.1 He was the son of Algernon Digby and Richenda Catherine Hamond.1 He married Diana Broughton Knight, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Guy Knight, on 5 January 1938.1 He died in November 1985 at age 93.1
     Thomas Hankinson Digby was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1919 in the service of the Battery of Light Armoured Cars, EEF.1
