     Algernon Digby was born on 23 May 1849. He was the son of Reverend Hon. Kenelm Henry Digby and Caroline Sheppard. He married Richenda Catherine Hamond, daughter of Captain Philip Hamond, on 30 December 1888.

     Richenda Catherine Hamond was the daughter of Captain Philip Hamond. She married Algernon Digby, son of Reverend Hon. Kenelm Henry Digby and Caroline Sheppard, on 30 December 1888. She died on 25 January 1940.
     Her married name became Digby.
