     He was 2nd Lieutenant Queen's , late Lieutenant City of London Yeo, High Sheriff Essex 1977, chairman Associated Container Transportation (Australia) 1979–82 and 1985–88, Pres General Cncl Br Shipping (subsequently Chamber Shipping) 1981–82 and 1992–94, Bays 1951.1 Essex 1978 ).1 He was educated Eton.1 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) (Suffolk in 1991.1 He lived in 2003 at Little Thurlow Hall, Haverhill, Suffolk CB9 7LQ; Iolaire Lodge, Lochinver, Sutherland IV27 4LU; Sunnyside Farmhouse, Hawick.1
