     Captain Charles George Digby was born on 14 December 1780.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Hon. William Digby and Charlotte Cox.1 He married Elizabeth Walsh, daughter of Sir John Benn Walsh, 1st Bt. and Margaret Fowke, on 13 September 1821.1 He died on 14 January 1829 at age 48.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1

     Her married name became Digby.

     Sir John Benn Walsh, 1st Bt. was the son of William Benn.2 He married Margaret Fowke, daughter of Joseph Fowke and Elizabeth Walsh, in 1778.2 He died on 7 June 1825.2
     He was given the name of John Benn at birth.2 On 4 April 1795 his name was legally changed to John Benn Walsh.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bletchingly between 1802 and 1806.2 He was created 1st Baronet Walsh [U.K.] on 14 June 1804.

     Lt.-Col. John Almarus Digby was born on 29 May 1826.1 He was the son of Captain Charles George Digby and Elizabeth Walsh.1 He married Diana Alicia Hepburne-Scott, daughter of Rev. Hon. William Hugh Hepburne-Scott and Eleanor Sophia Baillie, on 12 June 1861.1 He died on 13 July 1885 at age 59.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.1 He lived at Chalmington House, Dorchester, Dorset, EnglandG.1

     Diana Alicia Hepburne-Scott was the daughter of Rev. Hon. William Hugh Hepburne-Scott and Eleanor Sophia Baillie.1 She married Lt.-Col. John Almarus Digby, son of Captain Charles George Digby and Elizabeth Walsh, on 12 June 1861.1 She died on 6 May 1878.1
     From 12 June 1861, her married name became Digby.1

Rev. Hon. William Hugh Hepburne-Scott1

     Rev. Hon. William Hugh Hepburne-Scott was born on 11 May 1801.1 He was the son of Hugh Hepburne-Scott, 6th Lord Polwarth and Harriet Brühl.2 He married Eleanor Sophia Baillie, daughter of Venerable Charles Baillie and Lady Charlotte Home, in July 1833.1 He died on 11 April 1868 at age 66.1
     He was given the name of William Hugh Scott at birth.1 In December 1820 his name was legally changed to William Hugh Hepburne-Scott when his father inherited his cousin James Hepburne of Humbie's estate.1 They had three other daughters who died unmarried.1 He was the Rector at Maiden Newton, Dorset, EnglandG. He was Prebendary at SarumG.

     Eleanor Sophia Baillie was the daughter of Venerable Charles Baillie and Lady Charlotte Home.1,2 She married Rev. Hon. William Hugh Hepburne-Scott, son of Hugh Hepburne-Scott, 6th Lord Polwarth and Harriet Brühl, in July 1833.3 She died on 4 September 1853.1
     From July 1833, her married name became Hepburne-Scott.3 They had three other daughters who died unmarried.3

     Major George Hugh Digby was born on 21 September 1867.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Almarus Digby and Diana Alicia Hepburne-Scott.2 He married Lady Muriel Augusta Fox-Strangways, daughter of Henry Edward Fox-Strangways, 5th Earl of Ilchester and Lady Mary Eleanor Anne Dawson, on 5 August 1903.1 He died on 20 October 1914 at age 47, accidentally killed.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Dorset Yeomanry.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.2 He lived at Chalmington House, Dorchester, Dorset, EnglandG.2
