     Emma fitz Baldwin is the daughter of Baldwin fitz Gilbert.2 She married Hugh Wake, Seigneur de Négreville, son of Geoffrey Wake, in 1138.1

     Baldwin Wake was the son of Hugh Wake, Seigneur de Négreville and Emma fitz Baldwin.2 He married Agnes du Hommet, daughter of William du Hommet.1 He died in 1198.1
     He held the office of King's Constable in England.1 As well as Hereward's old lands at Witham and Barholm, he held Deeping, also in the Fens.1 Feudal Lord of Bourne.1 He was the benefactor of Bourne, Vandry, Longues, Mont St. Michael and Prudhomme Abbeys.1

     Agnes du Hommet was the daughter of William du Hommet.2 She married, firstly, Baldwin Wake, son of Hugh Wake, Seigneur de Négreville and Emma fitz Baldwin.1 She married, secondly, Randulph de Vernay.2 She died after 1244.2
     Her married name became Wake.

Baldwin Wake1

     Baldwin Wake was the son of Baldwin Wake and Agnes du Hommet.2 He married Isabel de Briwere, daughter of William de Briwere.1 He died on 20 July 1213, allegedly killed by a crossbow bolt before while besieging a castle in Gascony.2
     Feudal Lord of Bourne.1 In 1207 he was apparently imprisoned by King John.1 Before 1210 he was pardoned and regranted his English lands, retaining also his Guernsey ones but losing his Norman ones (his efforts to retain which by currying favour with the French probably occasioning his quarrel with King John) following the overrunning of King John's territory in Normandy by the French in 1206.1
