     Edith Caroline Wake was born in 1844 at Hedon, Yorkshire, England.2 She was the daughter of Reverend James Hare Wake and Caroline Elizabeth Eyre.3 She married Captain Martin Budd Lewin on 29 November 1864.1 She died on 18 February 1928.1
     From 29 November 1864, her married name became Lewin.

     Elisabeth Spedding was the daughter of Major James Spedding.2 She married Reverend James Hare Wake, son of Baldwin Wake and Sarah Spedding, on 21 June 1864.1 She died on 2 August 1875, without issue.1

     Captain Baldwin Arden Wake was born on 4 January 1813.1 He was the son of Baldwin Wake and Sarah Spedding.2 He married Ada Maria Hough, daughter of Reverend George Hough, on 16 June 1850.1 He died on 17 January 1880 at age 67.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1
