     Admiral Sir Drury St. Aubyn Wake was born on 16 September 1863.1 He was the son of Admiral Charles Wake and Emma St. Aubyn.2 He married Edith Rose Mary Boyce, daughter of Reverend Thomas White Boyce, in 1896.1 He died on 23 September 1935 at age 72.1
     He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (K.C.I.E.)1 He was awarded the Humane Society medal.1 He was awarded the Commander, Order of St. Maurice and St. Lazarus of Italy 4th Class.1 He was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of Russia.1
