     John Dickins Wakefield was born on 17 December 1899.1 He was the son of Roger William Wakefield and Ethel Mary Knott.2 He married Celia Penny, daughter of John Penny, on 23 September 1925.1 He died on 10 February 1938 at age 38.1
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.1

     Celia Penny is the daughter of John Penny.2 She married, firstly, John Dickins Wakefield, son of Roger William Wakefield and Ethel Mary Knott, on 23 September 1925.1 She married, secondly, Basil Radclyffe on 2 July 1940.1
     From 23 September 1925, her married name became Wakefield. From 2 July 1940, her married name became Radclyffe.1

     John Roger Wakefield was born on 2 October 1926.1 He is the son of John Dickins Wakefield and Celia Penny.2 He married, firstly, Heath Katharine Rosselli, daughter of Frank Rosselli, on 31 January 1951.1 He and Heath Katharine Rosselli were divorced in 1961.1 He married, secondly, Ruth Kirkham Gluck, daughter of William Gluck, on 17 June 1961.1
     He was educated at Plumtree School, Plumtree, Matabeleland, Zimbabwe.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1945 in the Royal Navy.1 He graduated from University of Cape Town, Cape Town, Cape Province, South AfricaG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was with the Colonial Administration Service between 1954 and 1959.1 He was sub-editor of The Star Johannesburg between 1961 and 1966.1 He was assistant editor of The Post Johannesburg between 1967 and 1969.1 He was PR director and manager of editorial services for Unimark International, South Africa in 1969.1 He lived in 2003 at 39 Newport Road, Parkwood, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa.1
