     Sir Hugh Okeover is the son of RALPH fitz Ormus.2
     Had, with another s (Hugh).1 He was Staffordshire.1 He lived Okeover and Stretton.1 In 1189 bought the Manor of Shene, Staffs, from Bertram de Verdun.1

Sir Robert Okeover1

     Sir Robert Okeover was the son of Sir Hugh Okeover.2 He married Sarra de Chandos, daughter of Sir John de Chandos, in 1196.1 He died in 1241, in or after , with two other sons (Hugh, d without issue 1242.1
     Robert, granted Wetton, Staffs, married Margery – two sons (William, of Stretton.1 Joan, married William de Stratton)).1 He lived Okeover.1 In 1275 Robert, of Mayfield, Staffs, living ) and two daughters (Agatha, married Wiger de Dive.1

     Sarra de Chandos is the daughter of Sir John de Chandos.2 She married Sir Robert Okeover, son of Sir Hugh Okeover, in 1196.1
     Daughter and coheir of Robert fitz Walkeline (from whom the OKEOVERs probably held the manor of Atlow).1 Her married name became Okeover.

     Sir Roger Okeover was the son of John Okeover.2 He married Christian de Atlow.1 He died in April 1338, by.1
     He lived Okeover.1 In 1293 under age.1 In 1322 took part in rebellion of Earl of Lancaster to compound for his estates with Hugh le Despenser, Earl of Winchester (see BP&B 2003 FALMOUTH, V).1 He was one of the kts of Staffordshire summoned to attend the King on his expdn to Guienne in 1324.1 He was Commissioner of of Array Derbys for the Scottish campaign , 1334 and 1335 in 1333.1
