     James Walker was born on 26 December 1753.1 He was the son of James Walker and Alice Goodwin.2 He married Jane Porter on 12 December 1789.1 He died on 24 February 1829 at age 75, with two daughters (Jane, married 1819 Richard Hill, of Thornton (d 1855).1
     He lived Springhead and Beverley.1 On 7 April 1818 Harriet, married Joseph Robinson Pease (died 27 May 1866), of Hesslewood, nr Hull).1
