     Sir Archibald Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 17th Bt. was born on 25 January 1796.¹ He was the son of Sir William Wardlaw of Pitreavie, 14th Bt. and Elizabeth Anderson.² He died on 29 January 1874 at age 78, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 17th Baronet Wardlaw, of Pitreavie, Fife [N.S., 1631] on 23 January 1863.¹

     Henry Wardlaw was born in 1746.¹ He was the son of Alexander Wardlaw and Margaret Campbell.² He married Jean Gould.¹ He died on 21 July 1820.
     He was an Excise Officer.¹

     Jean Gould married Henry Wardlaw, son of Alexander Wardlaw and Margaret Campbell.¹ She died on 8 January 1847.¹
     Her married name became Wardlaw.
