     He was Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was Captain 3rd Battalion Leics Regiment attd Egyptian Army, Aide-de-Camp to General Officer Commanding The Curragh , Major 10th Serv Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers Boer War 1899 (wounded, despatches, medal with clasp) in 1900.1

     Henry Walter Weldon was born on 2 November 1878.1 He was the son of Sir Anthony Crossdill Weldon, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Caroline Thomasina Kennedy.2 He married Helen Louise Victoria Cowan, daughter of Sir Edward Porter Cowan, on 19 August 1909.1 He died on 2 June 1925 at age 46.1
     He was Lieutenant-Colonel Beds and Hertfordshire Regiment and Prince of Wales's Leinster Regt, Boer –02 and WW I (despatches, Croix de Guerre) War 1901.1 He was Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.1

     She was County Down.1 Youngest.1 Her married name became Weldon. She lived Craig-a-vad.1

     He was Brigadier Royal Artillery WW II (despatches twice), Commander 33 AA –60, Commander Sch Artillery Manorbier 1960–62, BRAN Cmd but ret to become Sec County of London T&AFA Nov 1962 (Sec Gtr Lond TA&VRA 1968), Honour Colonel 265 Lieutenant AD Regimen Bde 1958.1 He was educated Charterhouse and RMA Woolwich.1 He was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) ) in 1950.1 He was Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) ( in 1961.1 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) (Gtr London ) in 1967.1
