     Charles Wheler Wheler was born in 1835 at Ledsham, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Charles Medhurst and Anne Landon.1 He married Elizabeth Townend Hall, daughter of William Hall, on 1 June 1869 at Ospringe, Kent, England.1 He died on 6 August 1899.1

     William Wotton Abney was born in 1780.1 He was the son of Edward Abney and Hephzibah Need.1 He was baptised on 31 August 1780 at Castle Gate Meeting House, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.1 He married Elizabeth Richardson, daughter of William Richardson, on 8 April 1806 at Fulford, Yorkshire, England.1 He died on 18 May 1822.1
     He was commissioned in 1801 with the rank of Cornet, in the service of the Royal Horse Guards.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1803.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1805.1 He was a partner of the Mansfield Bank.1

     From 20 March 1792, her married name became Wheler.

Lt.-Col. Sir Trevor Wheler, 9th Bt.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir Trevor Wheler, 9th Bt. was born on 20 December 1792.1 He was the son of Sir Trevor Wheler, 8th Bt. and Harriet Beresford.2 He married, firstly, Lucy Dandridge, daughter of George Dandridge, on 15 October 1817.1 He married, secondly, Frances Carus-Wilson, daughter of Dr. William Carus-Wilson and Ann Neville, on 14 December 1865.1 He died on 6 September 1869 at age 76.1
     He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Wheler, of City of Westminster, co. London [E., 1660] on 4 February 1830.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the North Devon Mounted Rifle Yeomanry.1

     Lucy Dandridge was the daughter of George Dandridge.2 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Trevor Wheler, 9th Bt., son of Sir Trevor Wheler, 8th Bt. and Harriet Beresford, on 15 October 1817.1 She died on 25 April 1859.1
     Worcs.1 Only.1 Her married name became Wheler. She lived The Commandery.1
